“I will still continue to fight until my last breathe; I believe I have a job to do in this world, and until I reach the end, I have to keep trying.” I was born in Spain at a time when cystic fibrosis was almost completely unknown, and subsequently was not diagnosed immediately. Because of the lack of care I had at a young age, my health deteriorated, forcing me to undergo my first transplant by the age of ten. I am now 29 years old and work every day to stay healthy in spite of sometimes seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
