“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I’m a husband, father of two, cancer survivor, and I battle CF every day of my life. I was diagnosed with CF at 3 months old and in March 2017 I will be 50 years old. Being fit is a huge part of why I am still here. I’ve always enjoyed being active. I competed in sports all through high school and college and never let CF hold me back. Now that I have a family it’s more important than ever for me to stay active and fit. My regimen includes daily workouts, hypertonic saline twice a day and chest PT with the Vest twice a day. I work in the medical industry and know the importance of drug discoveries for this disease. I recently started on one this year. I also know how important it is to be involved in the clinical research as a patient. I have committed to being in clinical trials and will continue to do so. I hope to inspire others so that people realize that living with a chronic disease is not a death sentence.
