In the latest CF Podcast, Jerry Cahill’s lung transplant coordinator at CUIMC, Maggie Carroll, sat down to discuss her role as a Physician Assistant in the Lung Transplant Program. As a PA, she helps manage patients’ pulmonary issues in addition to any other problems that arise after discharge post-transplant and sees them in the clinic on a routine basis. Maggie believes that education plays a vital part in having a successful transplant and post-transplant life.
