In this cystic fibrosis podcast, Johnell Garmany, President and CEO of Garmany, discusses the history of his family and store as well as the reasoning behind their generosity.

Founded by Johnell’s father around 43 years ago, Garmany has become known as one of the finer retail establishments in the country. Johnell attributes both his success and charitable personality to his late father, who passed away suddenly from a stroke.

By using his store as an event venue, Johnell is able to host events that benefit non-profits, like the event this week on Septemer 8: Garmany Gives Back. The evening will include: fully catered gathering featuring themed drinks, both men’s and women’s fashions presented on models walking throughout the store, and designers and representatives on site. A percentage of sales that evening will benefit the foundation.
