In this cystic fibrosis podcast, we meet Denise – a 41-year-old County Kerry, Ireland native who is living, breathing, and succeeding in New York. Three years ago, she received a life-saving double lung transplant, which she says was a bittersweet moment… to know that someone else had to pass on so that she could live. In this moving video, Denise tells her personal journal through the transplant process, living with her new lungs afterwards, and lets all viewers know that a transplant is not a cure for cystic fibrosis.
