I dream daily for a cure for CF. When our first grandchild was diagnosed with CF we began our journey into the CF world. At first we were scared and fearful of the future. All of that changed as we read and understood more about the disease. Anderson who just turned 5 is thriving thanks to the advances in medical therapies and drugs. He began taking the life changing medication Kaleydco on his mother’s 29 birthday! We began to realize that our dream for a cure is within reach! We continue to dream daily of a world where CF is read and talked about in past tenses. I love the matra of the YCF and the fact that a hero is inside each of us, including my 17 first graders who are featured as the cover on the YCF FB page!
