Andrea Eisenman is a 57-year-old living with cystic fibrosis who received a double lung transplant in April 2000. 17 years later, she was diagnosed with PTLD, or Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder, a type of cancer she had never heard of. After going through chemo for two and a half years, she had a reoccurrence in 2021, but is part of a clinical trial and remains hopeful. To stay positive, she tries to keep a sense of humor and to appreciate the little things in life.
