“The truest heroes have problems and fail – what makes them special is that they continue to stand up and defy the odds.” Running has always given me a positive attitude and outlook on life – it helps me start every day fresh. Cystic fibrosis takes up so much time – sometimes I feel like it is taking over. But by surrounding myself with optimistic people and finding time to just run and feel free, I know I will continue to be successful and to lead a fulfilling life.
